| Update the software on our HTC Wildfire today!
The HTC Wildfire 2.2 software upgrade provides several key enhancements to your phone, including:
- Improved Search Capabilities with Google Search
- Record Videos in HD
- See Friends’ Facebook Status & Birthday on Caller ID
- Recommend Apps to Friends From Your Phone
- Use Your Phone as a Flashlight
- Use Your Phone as a Wi-Fi Hotspot
- Change Your Keyboard Language on the Fly
- Easier Typing
- Lock Your Phone in More than One Way
Customers will be responsible for installing this upgrade. These instructions will help walk you through the process.
Installation Instructions
- You can manually check for the update by going to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Software Updates. Your phone will also check for updates every 14 days.
- When an update is available, you can choose to download it now or cancel.
- When you accept the download, you can choose to download the software via the Mobile Network or Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi ONLY.
- Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to install the software.
- Once you accept the install, the phone will tell you when it’s been successful. A screen showing a progress wheel and percentage will appear as the phone updates applications and reapplies your settings.
- When completed, you will see an abbreviated version of the Setup Wizard. All user data will be retained, including applications, media and content.
